Men's Bodybuilding:
Women's Classic Open Bodybuilding:
Classic Men’s Physique classes are divided by height. We find that many over-estimate their height and measure in shorter than what they list on the entry form. Under no circumstances will entry fees be refunded for competitors who do not show up.
Please refer to the height measurement classes below so you can accurately check your height and enter the correct class. Complete details on posing at: www.npcnewsonline.com
*Please note that this is a NON NPC designated event, and therefore classes will be as follows:
Classes for Classic Men's Physique:
Men’s Physique (original class, not the new “Classic Physique” Class) is similar to a male model search division with the men wearing board shorts. Judges will be looking for fit contestants who display proper shape and symmetry combined with muscularity and overall condition.
This is not a bodybuilding contest, so extreme muscularity, vascularity, and dryness will be marked down.
Contestants will be asked to walk in board shorts (no spandex and
no team or sponsor logos are permitted). Competitors will enter the stage without a shirt and barefoot. Judges are looking for the contestant with the best stage presence and poise who can successfully convey his personality to the audience. Competitors will walk to the center of the stage alone and perform half (1/2) turns with an optional pose of hand on hip or hand in pocket, face the judges as directed as proceed to the side of the stage.
Additional classes may be added to suit competitor demand.
*Please note that this is a NON NPC designated event, and therefore classes will be as follows:
Men's Physique Classes:
Figure Classes will have one round of judging, consisting of quarter turns and comparisons in a two-piece swimsuit. Competitors must wear high heels. Swimsuits must be in good taste.
Thongs and T-back suits are not allowed.
*Please note that this is a NON NPC designated event, and therefore classes will be as follows:
Women's Figure Classes:
Suit bottoms must be in
good taste. No thongs are allowed. Please note that the “Straddle” pose WILL NOT be permitted at this event. As of 2016, Bikini competitors may pose with legs shoulder width apart – NO BENDING FORWARD. Side hip and cross leg poses will still be permitted. We will go over this at the competitor meeting.
*Please note that this is a NON NPC designated event, and therefore classes will be as follows:
Women's Bikini Classes:
This division is for females with athletic physiques that showcase more body mass in the hips, glutes and thigh areas. The upper body is developed but not to the same degree as the lower body.
Wellness division competitors will be checked in and measured the same as Fitness, Figure, Bikini, and Women’s Physique competitors.
All suits will be inspected at the check-in’s. Every competitor must wear their competition suit under their clothing to check in’s for inspection. If your suit is not inspected, you will not be permitted to compete. No Exceptions.
If you change your competition suit from prejudging to finals and the judges deem it not to conform to the rules, you will be directed to leave the stage. No Exceptions.
